Therefore, chopped basalt fiber yarn is the first choice to reinforce thermoplastic resin and the best material to reinforce concrete. Basalt, as special silicate with high performance, is the component of volcanics, which gives basalt fiber excellent chemical resistance, especially the advantages of alkaline-resistance. So basalt fiber is the excellent material to replace PP, PAN and reinforce cement concrete, also as a competitive product for asphalt concrete, instead of polyester fiber, lignin fiber, etc. It can improve the thermal stability, low-temperature crack resistance and fatigue resistance of asphalt concrete;

Application

1. It is the first choice of reinforced material in cement concrete, asphalt concrete, used in hydropower station dam for seepage, crack, compressive strength control and prolong the lifespan of road pavement.

2. It is suitable for reinforced thermoplastic resin, is good quality for manufacturing sheet molding compound (SMC), block molding compound (BMC), Slug mode plastic (DMC).

3. It is suitable for resin composite as the reinforcing material of the automobile, train and ship shell.

4. It can also be used in thermal power plant cooling tower, nuclear power plant steam cement pipe.

5. It is used for high temperature resistant needled felt: automobile sound-absorbing plate, hot rolled steel, aluminum tube.
